About Us

Our Story

A quilt guild is more than just quilting ... it's about building life long friendships. This year we are celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Delectable Mountain Quilters Guild. Beth Soderquist started the guild with a handful of women in 1994 and 25 years later we are still going strong. We are a group of women who love to share our passion for quilting with others.

QUILTING AS AN ART FORM

Quilting is a diverse as the women who create it. Our members make both traditional quilts and modern quilts - all with stunningly beautiful fabrics. Quilting today truly bridges the traditions that have been handed down for generations with modern fiber art.  We regularly invite national speakers and quilters to share their knowledge and inspiration with us.

COME JOIN US

We meet on the THIRD THURSDAY OF EVERY MONTH AT  6:30pm at the Steamboat Springs Community Center located at 1597 Lincoln Ave in Steamboat Springs. Quilting workshops are by signup and are usually held on the 3rd Saturday of most months. We love having visitors! Feel free to come to a guild meeting and find delightful women who love to quilt! Contact us for more information at DMQGSS@gmail.com or use the contact form at the bottom of the website.
